The main focus of her research is the study of the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment of endometrial pathology. She pioneered the use of hysteroscopy in the diagnosis and treatment of gynecological diseases. For over 30 years, her research has focused on the physiology and pathology of the postmenopausal period. She developed an algorithm for the examination and treatment of patients with uterine bleeding due to intrauterine pathology, and introduced various endometrial ablation techniques and hysteroresection. V.G. Breusenko is proficient in all the main surgical techniques in gynecology. She was among the first in the USSR to introduce the technique of uterine artery embolization for the treatment of uterine fibroids and adenomyosis.
For the development and implementation of these methods in the practice of treating gynecological patients, Professor V.G. Breusenko was twice awarded the Russian Federation Government Prize, in 2002 and 2011.
V.G. Breusenko is the author of 501 scientific papers: publications, methodological recommendations, and monographs (including 15 articles in the central press over the past 5 years). The most significant monographs include: "Endoscopy in Gynecology," "Hysteroscopy," "Handbook of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Perinatology," "National Guide to Gynecology," the textbook "Gynecology," and "Guide to Emergency Surgery of Abdominal Organs: A Guide for Physicians." Over the past 5 years, new publications have been published: "Hysteroscopy. Atlas and Guide" (2018), "Gynecology; National Guidelines" (2020), "Gynecology; National Guidelines. Brief Edition" (2019), a patent was received "Vacuum aspiration of the ovum from the interstitial part of the fallopian tube through a mini-incision on the uterus using laparoscopic access" (2022). New guidelines have been written: the chapter "Hyperplastic processes of the endometrium" in the clinical guidelines for obstetrics and gynecology (4th edition revised and supplemented, 2015), in 2015 the educational module "Hyperplastic processes of the endometrium" was released. In 2009 and 2015, scientific papers carried out under the supervision of V.G. Breusenko were presented at international conferences of obstetricians and gynecologists FIGO (South Africa, Canada). For 25 years, Valentina Grigoryevna served as an expert on the surgical council of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation and is a member of the editorial board of the journal "Russian Bulletin of Obstetrics and Gynecology."
For over 47 years, Valentina Grigoryevna Breusenko has been training residents, graduate students, and undergraduates; she actively promotes the development of skills in the latest diagnostic and treatment methods among a large staff of young specialists.
Under the supervision of Professor V.G. Breusenko, five doctoral and 42 candidate dissertations have been written.

Professor A.A. Solomatina is a pioneer in the development of new technologies in the diagnosis and treatment of gynecological diseases. She is one of the founders of a series of studies on color Doppler ultrasound. She developed a scoring scale for echographic images. She has developed and implemented additional diagnostic methods (color Doppler ultrasound, CT, and MRI) for the diagnosis of ovarian tumors and tumor-like formations in clinical practice in gynecology departments.

A.A. Solomatina is the secretary of the problem commission and a member of the academic council of the Moscow faculty of the State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education "Russian State Medical University of the Russian Health Ministry." She was awarded the medal of the Russian State Medical University named after N.I. Pirogov (2000), the honorary diploma of the Russian State Medical University (2000), and a letter of gratitude from the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation (2002).

I’m so grateful for the high-quality care and excellent work at the Orthopedics Department of Hospital No. 31.
I had a hip replacement performed by Doctor Georgy Airapetov. He is a top-level professional. I found him very accurate, calm, confident, and knowledgeable of all treatment stages. He showed his great expertise and systematic approach to care from the very first consultation. Because of the doctor’s excellent technique, the procedure went well and resulted in no complications, a good postoperative recovery and dynamics.
Armen Daniliyants was my treating physician and surgical assistant. I appreciate his participation, attention, and continuous health monitoring. He gave clear and concise recommendations throughout treatment, explaining every step in details. He has a rare blend of professionalism and empathy.
I’d like to also thank all the department’s medical staff, including doctors, nurses, and other healthcare workers. They work as a team and care for every patient with patience and respect. The hospital is clean and tidy, and the staff is attentive and well-organized. During the admission, I felt safe and sound. That is particularly important in the case of major orthopedic surgery.

For long enough, I tried to ease pain in my right knee joint. I went to the adaptive physical activity sessions and made specialized exercises. Nothing helped. My treating physician recommended that I visit Hospital No. 31 when pain became too much. I had a consultation with Doctor Sergey Bezverkhiy, who offered me to replace my knee joint as the last treatment option. At first sight, I found him highly qualified. No doctor has ever paid so much attention to my concerns. The operation went smoothly. I’d like to thank Dr. Bezverkhiy for his expertise and empathy. Medicine is truly his devotion!

I am so grateful to the medical staff of Hospital No. 31 for successfully removing the left liver cyst! Special thanks to the anesthesiologist Sergey Korneev and nurse anesthetist Olga Larina. They professionally prepared me for surgery and made sure that I was comfortable during the procedure. Their attentiveness and coordinated work gave me confidence and calm.
The urologist Yekaterina Kalashnikova demonstrated a high level of professionalism throughout the surgery. I needed a reoperation to stop the bleeding. Thanks to her competence and skill, the procedure was safer and more efficient. Clear guidelines and tailored treatment helped to prevent complications in the postoperative recovery.
I’d like also to thank the department head Anar Takhirzade, who oversees the entire treatment process. His support and attention to detail made me feel completely safe and confident in the best outcomes.

I was suggested by the Women’s Health Center to see an excellent fertility specialist Tatyana Dontsova at the Center for Assisted Reproductive Technology of Hospital No. 31. She earned my trust on the very first visit. I admired her knowledge, empathy, and strong desire to help. She thoroughly studied our medical history and recommended necessary diagnostics, treatment, and monitoring. We had completed the first IVF protocol at a different clinic and with a different doctor, but unsuccessfully. With support of Dr. Dontsova, the second protocol at the Hospital No. 31 center was a success! After that, there was a 3-week monitoring period with two ultrasound scans. We were referred back to our women’s health center for pregnancy follow-up after the heartbeat was detected. We had a challenging case due to numerous factors, but it was handled thanks to the professionalism and attentiveness of Dr. Dontsova, as well as the coordinated work of the center’s staff. It should be mentioned that the medical center has a very pleasant, calm, comfortable, and well-equipped environment.

I was treated for my wrist trauma in Hospital No. 31 named after G.M. Savelyeva. Special gratitude to Andrey Shishimorov, Head of the Microsurgery Department. The department appears to have strong and effective leadership. All processes – from diagnostics to surgery and postoperative monitoring – are carried out accurately. There is cutting-edge technology: high-tech equipment, X-ray machines, and all of the systems required for complicated hand microsurgical methods.
The employees are highly attentive and work together seamlessly. Great inpatient unit. Appropriate and timely change of dressings. Nurses are constantly available. It’s uncommon that the head’s competence is felt throughout the therapy.
I’m deeply grateful for high-level management and care as well as extremely high-quality medical services.
